Black Spruce & Woodpecker

Hot and flamedrawn glass; flameworked glass; sandblasted and acid-etched; bottle gaffed by Che Rhodes

The bottle was made at the University of Louisville with Che Rhodes and cold worked by me at Penland. The stopper was made in my studio and cold worked later. I wanted to allude to a woodpecker in a dark spruce grove.
